30T VD-VOD Vacuum Oxidization Decarbonization Vacuum Refining Furnace

In the production of metallurgical industry, in order to improve the quality of molten steel, secondary treatment of molten steel is needed. At present, VD/VOD outside furnace refining technology is widely used in the world, which has the advantages of simple equipment, less investment, low cost, variety of refining, high quality, simple operation and so on.

The equipment structure of VOD vacuum refining furnace and VD vacuum refining furnace is basically the same, the main difference is that the VOD refining furnace adds an oxygen lance and its lifting system and oxygen supply system in the upper part of the vacuum seal cover, and blows oxygen to the molten steel in the ladle for decarburization under vacuum conditions.This method has the functions of decarburization, deoxygenation, degassing, desulfurization and alloying.VD/VOD is used for vacuum refining of molten steel. It has two structure forms: tank cover type and tank car type.
