Usage and dosage reference for NPK fertilizer

NPK fertilizer has a long effect and should be used as base fertilizer. A large number of experiments show that the basal application is better for both binary and ternary NPK fertilizers. This is because the NPK fertilizer contains a variety of nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and so on. In the early stage of crops, it is particularly sensitive to phosphorus and potassium, which requires early application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer as base fertilizer.

The technology of coating and granulation is adopted in the production process of controlled-release compound
fertilizer. The fertilizer efficiency is slow and stable, the decomposition rate is slower than that of single chemical
fertilizer, the nutrient leaching loss is less, and the utilization rate is high.

Generally, the consumption per mu is 30 to 40 kg, Use 2-3 times in a crop growth cycle. NPK fertilizer should not be used in
seedling stage fertilizer and late stage fertilizer, in order to prevent excessive green.

The decomposition of compound fertilizer is slow. For the crops that use NPK fertilizer as base fertilizer during sowing, quick acting nitrogen fertilizer should be supplemented in time according to the fertilizer demand law of different crops to meet the nutritional needs of crops.

The concentration of NPK fertilizer varies greatly, so we should pay attention to choose the appropriate concentration. Most of the NPK fertilizers are formulated according to the average nutrient content of soil types and the proportion of fertilizer required by major crops in a certain region. There are series of NPK fertilizers with high, medium and low concentrations on the market. Generally, the total nutrient content of low concentration is between 25% and 30%, the medium concentration is between 30% and 40%, and the high concentration is more than 40%.

The economic and efficient NPK fertilizer should be used according to different regions, soils and crops. Generally, high
concentration NPK fertilizer is used in economic crops with good quality, less residue and high utilization rate.

If the concentration of NPK fertilizer is high, it is necessary to avoid direct contact between seeds and fertilizers, which will
affect seedling emergence, even seedling burning and rotten roots. When sowing, the distance between the seed and the hole application and strip application of NPK fertilizer is about 5 to 10 cm. It is forbidden to apply the fertilizer directly with the seed in the same hole, which will cause fertilizer damage.
