Cross‑disc (cross block) is an internal transmission part for Bos-ch VE distributor injection pump. Main functions:

1. Transfer torque from drive shaft to cam plate and distributor plunger. It makes the plunger rotate and reciprocate to pressurize and distribute fuel.
2. Compensate small misalignment between shaft and cam plate. If cross‑disc is worn: bad starting, rough idle, uneven fuel supply, loss of power and black smoke will happen. We suggest replacing it during VE pump overhaul.
