Dual Shot Injection Molding involves two injection cycles in the same tooling. The tooling includes two cavities but shares the same core. The first injection molds the substrate (hard part), then the core rotates 90 degrees to position the substrate in new cavities for the second injection. The second material can be either soft or hard material.
