Description
High Resolution 1280x1024 / 10 μm LWIR Cooled Infrared Module with Proximity Board
Product Description

The EYAS G1210LC cooled AD module consists of a 1280×1024/10μm LWIR cooled infrared detector and an AD (analog-to-digital) circuit board. Equipped with an RS079G rotary Stirling cryocooler, the module converts the analog output signal of the cooled infrared detector into a digital video stream, while providing the required driving power and timing control.

This solution helps OEM customers quickly conduct testing of infrared detectors, simplify system integration, and significantly accelerate development. Compared with MWIR AD modules, LWIR modules offer stronger penetration and anti-interference capabilities, making them suitable for high-reliability applications under complex conditions.

Main Features
  • Analog-to-Digital Conversion, Accelerated Development - Based on 1280x1024/10μm LWIR cooled infrared detectors, integrated with AD circuit for analog-to-digital conversion. Integrated design with dimensions consistent with the detector.
  • LWIR for Anti-Interference Detection - Strong penetration through dust and sand, suitable for complex environments. Not affected by reflections from the sun and sea surfaces. Capable of detecting low-temperature objects.
  • Excellent Performance, Easy Integration - Cameralink interface outputs 16-bit raw data, with serial port control. Adjustable high frame rate from 1 to 100Hz, capable of capturing high-speed moving targets.

About SensorMicro

SensorMicro was founded with a simple but powerful belief: Innovation should serve real-world needs. We exist to empower people and systems to see beyond the surface—into the patterns, the problems, and the possibilities that lie beneath.

By turning invisible heat into visible truth, we help industries make smarter decisions, protect what matters most, and navigate complexity with clarity. Our commitment to being self-made and customer-first has driven our global momentum across security, firefighting, industrial inspection, medical care, machine vision, environmental monitoring, and key aspects of carbon neutrality.

We are more than an infrared technology company. We are a community of people committed to building a sustainable, ethical, and human-centered future. Every pixel of innovation we create is a promise to protect, to empower, and to serve.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is thermal sensitivity?
Thermal Sensitivity, also named NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference), is a key parameter for evaluating medium wave (MWIR) and long wave (LWIR) thermal imaging cameras. It is directly related to the clarity measured by the thermal imager. It is a numerical value representing the signal-to-noise ratio of the temperature difference and measured in milliKelvins (mK). The smaller the thermal sensitivity value, the higher the sensitivity and the clearer the image.
2. What are the applications of thermal imaging?
Temperature measurement and all-weather imaging are two basic functions of infrared thermal imaging technology. Products developed based on these two technologies are widely used in security & monitoring, payloads, industrial inspection, firefighting, predictive maintenance, ADAS, epidemic prevention, AIoT and more.
3. What is MCT/HgCdTe detector?
MCT, also called HgCdTe, refers to Mercury-Cadmium-Tellurid which is a chemical compound of cadmium telluride (CdTe) and mercury telluride (HgTe) and a common material in photodetectors. MCT/HgCdTe detector is a photoconductive detector that operates at a cryogenic environment and can detect infrared radiation. It is more sensitive than thermal sensors.
