The pressureless sintered silicon carbide(SIC) saggers can adopt three diffrent forming processes depending on product specifications: isostatic pressing, slip casting and dry pressing. The formed green bodies undergo preliminary processing before being sintered at high temperatures in a pressureless vacuum sintering furnace.
