Introduction

The ADMAG TI Series “AXG” series from Yokogawa is a high-performance electromagnetic (magnetic) flowmeter line for industrial process liquids. The “AXG350” variant refers to the nominal size of 350 mm (14 in) (nominal diameter) in that series.
Key features of the AXG series that also apply to the AXG350 include:

  • Use of the proprietary dual-frequency excitation method enabling stable flow measurement even under high flow noise, slurries, or variable conductivity fluids.
  • A broad size range (2.5 mm up to 500 mm) with a variety of liner and electrode materials for different industrial fluids.
  • Flexible communication options (HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP) and built-in diagnostics to support “Total Insight” lifecycle management.
  • Intended applications include heavy-duty process industries: oil & gas, chemicals, pulp & paper, mining & metals, and other demanding applications.

The AXG350, being a large diameter 350 mm unit, is suitable for higher-volume pipelines, where flow velocities are moderate and measurement stability is critical in industrial processes.
