Installation & Operation Guidance
Common Installation Mistakes
Never force-install cylinders. Align mounting holes properly and ensure coaxiality to avoid eccentric stress. Seal air connections tightly to prevent leaks, and thoroughly clean air lines to keep debris out of the cylinder bore.
Cylinder Cushion Adjustment
Reduce cushion for low-speed/light-load applications, and increase moderately for high-speed/heavy-load use. Fine-tune cushion damping for various environmental conditions including high temperatures, high humidity, and dusty environments to prevent end-impact noise and internal damage.
Compatibility with International Standards
Cylinders themselves are voltage-independent, but matched solenoid valves must fit local voltage standards. Maintain air pressure at approximately 6bar. Always use dry, filtered compressed air for optimal performance.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Routine Maintenance Procedures
Regularly clean dust and impurities from cylinder bodies, and inspect air hoses for damage or leaks. Replenish suitable lubricating grease every 3-6 months. In dusty environments, replace filter elements more frequently to prevent jamming.
Lubrication Requirements
Non-lubricated operation is not recommended as it accelerates seal wear. Use neutral pneumatic lubricant only - never substitute with engine oil or grease, which may cause seal swelling and failure.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
For slow movement or insufficient thrust, check air pressure, inspect hoses for blockages, and verify solenoid valve functionality. For abnormal noise, adjust cushion settings and correct load positioning. Regular maintenance prevents most operational issues.
