Filter Meshes Overview

Precision etched filter mesh is a thin metal filtration component manufactured by photochemical etching. Unlike conventional woven wire mesh, the filter openings are chemically etched directly into the metal sheet, allowing precise control of aperture size, shape, pitch and pattern.

What is Etching?
Metal etching is a precise, subtractive manufacturing process that uses controlled chemistry to selectively remove material from metal sheets. It produces clean, burr-free parts with complex geometries without heat or mechanical stress, ideal for delicate and high-tolerance parts.
