The SD-9M DC (D2521) is a double cut (cross cut) rotary burr with a ball shape (ball nose, style M) design, ideal for heavy material removal, contouring, and deburring in curved surfaces, deep cavities, and complex internal profiles on cast iron, steel, and other ferrous metals. The ball nose geometry provides smooth and controlled cutting, making it particularly effective for radius cutting, cavity work, and internal curved surfaces. The double cut tooth pattern features two opposing flutes that provide a balanced combination of aggressive cutting and smooth surface finish, while minimizing vibration and chatter during operation.

Manufactured from virgin carbide raw materials and silver brazed using fully automatic equipment, this burr ensures reliable head retention, consistent performance, and long tool life. Suitable for shipyards, heavy fabrication, mold repair, and general metalworking.
