The YD05-008 1.5-Ton Double-Ram Hydraulic Transmission Jack is a high-performance auxiliary tool tailored for professional automotive repair scenarios. It combines durable structure, smooth operation, and flexible adaptability to provide comprehensive support for transmission maintenance work. Its core advantages are as follows:
- Super Durable Structure: Constructed entirely from heavy-duty solid alloy steel, it features high material hardness and excellent tensile and wear-resistant properties. It can withstand high-intensity load pressure for a long time without deformation or damage, effectively extending the tool's service life. Equipped with a 31" × 31" wide base, it can evenly distribute the pressure of heavy objects, significantly reducing the risk of center-of-gravity shift, ensuring stability and balance during operation, and safeguarding the safety of operators.
- Smooth Hydraulic Operation: Equipped with a manually operated hydraulic system, the operation logic is simple and easy to understand, requiring no complex training to get started. The hydraulic lifting and lowering process is stable throughout without jamming, and there is no obvious shaking or jolting. Maintenance personnel can accurately control the lifting speed and height of the jack, easily achieving precise positioning of the transmission, and reducing collision damage to the transmission or vehicle chassis caused by operational errors.
- 2-Stage Telescoping & Versatility: Innovatively adopting a 2-stage telescoping design, it not only has a wide height adjustment range (from a minimum height of 37" to a maximum raised height of 74.75") but also has differentiated load capacities for different stages (1500 KGS for the 1st stage and 1000 KGS for the 2nd stage). It can be flexibly switched according to the weight of the transmission and maintenance needs, adapting to the disassembly and assembly of light to medium-sized transmissions, greatly improving the tool's versatility and helping repair shops enhance work efficiency.
- Universal Saddle Adaptability: Equipped with a fully adjustable universal saddle (FULLY ADJUSTABLE UNIVERSAL SADDLE), it can flexibly adapt to different types of transmission components such as automatic transmissions and transaxles. The saddle can be adjusted in multiple angles and positions according to the shape and size of the component, ensuring close contact with the bottom of the transmission, avoiding slipping or shifting during support, and further improving operational safety and stability.
- Professional Auto Repair Shops / 4S Stores: For transmission fault repair, maintenance replacement, or driveline inspection of medium-heavy sedans, SUVs, light trucks, and other vehicle models, it can easily handle the lifting and positioning of transmissions of different weights by virtue of its 2-stage telescoping and differentiated load capacity advantages. It adapts to the maintenance needs of most commercial and household vehicles, enhancing the core operational capabilities of the store.
- Automotive Driveline Specialty Shops: Shops specializing in the repair of transmission components such as transmissions and transaxles need to frequently handle transmission components of different models and weights. The universal saddle and precise hydraulic adjustment of this jack can adapt to the support needs of various transmission components, reducing the frequency of tool replacement, helping technicians efficiently complete component disassembly, inspection, and repair, and improving the store's professional service level.
- Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Stations: Used for transmission maintenance of commercial vehicles such as light trucks and small vans. The transmission weight of such vehicles is usually higher than that of household sedans. The 1500 KGS load capacity of the jack's 1st stage can stably support heavy objects, and the wide base can also maintain stability in the open workstations of commercial vehicle maintenance, meeting the high-intensity operational needs of commercial vehicle maintenance.
- Automotive Repair Vocational Training Institutions: In advanced automotive repair training courses (such as special training for automatic transmission repair), it can be used as a teaching and practical tool. By demonstrating the 2-stage telescoping structure, the working principle of the hydraulic system, and the adaptation method of the universal saddle, it helps students understand the application logic of professional repair tools. At the same time, through practical operation exercises, students master the skills of safe support and positioning of heavy components, enhancing their professional competitiveness.
A1: It should be selected according to the actual weight of the transmission: If the transmission weight is between 1000 KGS and 1500 KGS, the 1st stage (with a load capacity of 1500 KGS) must be used to ensure that the load capacity covers the weight of the heavy object; if the transmission weight is ≤ 1000 KGS, the 1st or 2nd stage can be flexibly selected according to the required height (the 2nd stage has a load capacity of 1000 KGS). It is strictly prohibited to use the jack when the transmission weight exceeds the load capacity limit of the current stage, to avoid overload of the hydraulic system or structural damage.
A2: It is most likely due to one of the following two situations: First, the hydraulic oil level is insufficient. Open the hydraulic oil filling port and add hydraulic oil that meets the tool specifications to the standard scale (refer to the mark in the product manual); second, the hydraulic oil has impurity precipitation or viscosity change due to long-term use. Replace with new hydraulic oil and clean the impurities inside the oil tank. After adding or replacing the hydraulic oil, operate the lifting handle repeatedly 2-3 times to discharge the air in the system, and the normal lifting speed can be restored.
A3: The adjustment steps are as follows: 1. Loosen the fixing bolts on both sides of the saddle; 2. According to the shape of the support points at the bottom of the transmission (flat, curved, or multi-protrusion structure), move the saddle horizontally or vertically to make the contact surface of the saddle fully fit the support points; 3. If there is a depression at the bottom of the transmission, fine-tune the saddle height (some models have a fine-tuning knob on the saddle) to ensure uniform force on the support points; 4. After confirming the fit, tighten the fixing bolts, gently shake the transmission to test stability, and start operation only if there is no displacement.
A4: The following two methods can be used: 1. If the workstation floor is flat (such as concrete floor or non-slip floor tile), place a flat trolley with rollers under the jack base (ensure the trolley load capacity is ≥ 100 KGS) and push the trolley to achieve short-distance movement; 2. If long-distance movement across workstations is required, it is recommended that 2 people cooperate to carry it (lift the stress points on both sides of the base respectively) to avoid waist injury or tool collision caused by single-person carrying. It is forbidden to move the tool by dragging the hydraulic handle or telescopic column, so as not to damage the components.
