Precautions for use include:
Preparation and inspection before installation: Make sure all parts of the pressure relief valve are intact and not loose. For media that may be harmful to the human body, strength, sealing, leakage and accuracy tests must be carried out. Before installation, clean the pipeline to prevent impurities from entering the valve.
Precautions during installation: The pressure relief valve should be installed horizontally on the pipeline and must not be tilted. The flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the arrow on the valve body, and never install it upside down. The installation site should take into account the safety of personnel and equipment and be easy to operate, disassemble and repair.
Use and maintenance: When in use, slowly rotate the adjusting screw in a clockwise direction to adjust the outlet pressure to the required pressure (based on the gauge pressure after the valve), and tighten the nut after adjustment. In order to ensure continuous production when the automatic control system fails or the valve is repaired, a bypass valve should be installed. A filter should be installed in front of the pressure reducing valve to prevent impurities in the medium from entering the pressure reducing valve and affecting its performance. Regularly check the integrity of the pressure reducing valve, and replace the pressure reducing valve in time after two years of use.
