Functions and Features

The FAN adjusts the fan speed, checks the fan status, reports the fault on the fan control board, and reports the off-position alarm of the fan.

NOTE:

The average life of a fan assembly varies according to its environment:

  • Class-A environment: an indoor environment where temperature and humidity can be controlled, for example, a room used for living. In such an environment, the average life of a fan assembly is 6.5 years.
  • Class-B environment: an indoor environment where the ambient temperature and humidity are not controlled or the common outdoor environment where only simple shelter (such as awning) is available and the humidity occasionally reaches 100%. In such an environment, the average life of a fan assembly is 5 years.
  • Class-C environment: sea environment or outdoor land environment (with simple shielding measures) near pollution sources. In such an environment, the average life of a fan assembly is 2 years.

The preceding life spans are the average values concluded based on the test data in a lab and the theoretical model, rather than the actual values. They are for reference only. The actual life span must be determined based on the environment conditions of a specific area. In addition, the previous life spans do not indicate that a fan tray assembly becomes unavailable immediately at the end of its life span. They are used to prompt users to replace the fan tray assembly in time.

The technical specifications of the FAN include the mechanical specifications, power consumption, and working voltages.

Mechanical Specifications

The mechanical specifications of the FAN are as follows:

Power Consumption

At room temperature (25°C), the maximum power consumption of each fan assembly of the R1FAN is 20 W when the input voltage is -48 V.

Working Voltages

The working voltages of the FAN is as follows:

  • If the standard voltage of the input power is -48 V, the power voltage ranges from -38.4 V to -57.6 V.
  • If the standard voltage of the input power is -60 V, the power voltage ranges from -48 V to -72 V.
