Product Description

The Cast Iron High Security Dryer Cylinder is an essential component in papermaking machinery, designed to continuously dry formed paper blanks after pulp processing. Multiple drying cylinders are arranged crosswise within papermaking machines to ensure efficient drying.

Dryer Cylinder Production

Papermaking drying cylinders are drum-type pressure vessels with rotatable shafts at both ends. Steam enters through the hollow shaft at one end for drying, while condensed water is discharged through the opposite shaft. These cylinders are cast from high-quality iron with polished outer surfaces, utilizing graphite flakes in the cast iron to prevent paper sticking during the drying process.
