Stainless Steel Jumbo Press Roll 2500mm Diameter For Paper Machine
Jumbo Press Roll Description
The Jumbo Press Roll is composed of a large-diameter upper and lower pressure roller with a diameter of Φ1250-1900 mm. When used as a single-blanket press, the top roll is a hard-faced roll; when used as a double-blanket press, the upper and lower rolls are rubber-covered rolls. Cover rolls can be Flat Rubber Rolls, Grooved Rolls, Blind Hole Rolls, or Blind Hole Grooved Rolls. The roll surface of most Jumbo press rolls adopts the form of blind holes, and the combination of blind holes and grooves can also be used to strengthen dehydration.

Jumbo Press Roll Features
- 1. Due to the large diameter of the roll, it can generally form a nip with a width of 80-120 mm. This is already a significant increase over conventional roll nip widths. Conventional roller nip width is 20-60 mm
- 2. The wide nip not only prolongs the dehydration time (the passing time of the nip is 2-4 times that of the ordinary press), but also adopts a higher line pressure (up to 200-350 KN/m), so more can be pressed out of the paper If there is too much moisture, as long as the appropriate roll surface form and the felt with good dehydration performance are selected, the dryness of the cardboard in the press section can be increased from about 40% to about 45%.
- 3. The upper and lower rolls of the large roll diameter press are equipped with the transmission. The transmission side frame adopts the integral frame, and the operation side frame is equipped with a pump for changing the blanket. There is a pressing arm on the upper half of the frame, which is applied to the pressing arm through two hydraulic cylinders to provide the required pressure for the nip area.
