These groups, enriched with N and O lone pair electrons, exhibit the ability to form stable complexes with cations such as Cu²⁺, Pb²⁺, Fe²⁺, Cd²⁺, Ni²⁺, and Zn²⁺. In contrast to conventional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 boasts a superior exchange capacity and rate, making it a widely embraced and established technology in its field.
