Description

PRODUCT INFORMATION

ACD-100 is a high-selectivity amino carboxylic acid chelating resin engineered for heavy metal removal from electroplating wastewater. It effectively captures Cu2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+ ions, enabling rinse water recycling and helping plating lines meet stringent discharge standards.

Sphelite ACD-100 is a polystyrene divinyl benzene polymer chelating resin with CH2N(CH2COOH)2 functional groups. These groups contain N and O lone pair electrons and can form stable complexes with cations such as Cu2+, Pb2+, Fe2+, Cd2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+.

Compared with traditional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 shows higher exchange capacity and faster exchange rate. It has become a mature and widely applied solution in industrial separation processes.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS

Primarily used in electroplating and surface finishing plants to remove heavy metal cations from process rinse water and end-of-pipe wastewater. The resin also serves in closed-loop recovery systems where recovered metal concentrates can be returned to the plating bath, reducing sludge generation and chemical consumption.
