ACD-100 is an industrial-grade amino carboxylic acid chelating resin engineered for nickel and cobalt removal from battery manufacturing wastewater. Its robust polystyrene-DVB matrix delivers excellent mechanical strength and long-term stability in aggressive ionic environments, protecting downstream treatment units and enabling metal recovery.
Sphelite ACD-100 is a polystyrene divinyl benzene polymer chelating resin with CH2N(CH2COOH)2 functional groups. These groups contain N and O lone pair electrons and can form stable complexes with cations such as Cu2+, Pb2+, Fe2+, Cd2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+.
Compared with traditional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 shows higher exchange capacity and faster exchange rate. It has become a mature and widely applied solution in industrial separation processes.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS
Used in lithium battery, Ni-Cd and Ni-MH battery production facilities to strip Ni2+ and Co2+ from process effluents before discharge or reuse. The resin is also applied in spent battery recycling leachates, where recovered nickel and cobalt concentrates can be redirected back into the production loop, supporting circular economy targets.
