CNC Precision Machined Extruded Aluminum & Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes
Product Overview
Our CNC Precision Machined Extruded Aluminum & Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes combine high-quality raw tube profiles with advanced CNC machining to deliver ready-to-install components. Starting from extruded aluminum tubes (6061, 6063, 6082) or cold-drawn stainless steel seamless tubes (TP304, TP316L, duplex), we perform precision turning, milling, drilling, threading, and end finishing to your exact specifications.
The result: seamless tubes with machined features such as grooves, flanges, threads, chamfers, cross-holes, or stepped diameters - eliminating secondary assembly and ensuring drop-in readiness for hydraulic systems, pneumatic cylinders, structural frames, heat exchangers, and instrumentation lines.

Key Features & Benefits
✅ Seamless Integrity - No weld seam means higher pressure rating, better fatigue life, and no risk of weld corrosion (especially for stainless steel).
✅ CNC Precision - Tight tolerances and machined features ensure direct fit into assemblies without rework.
✅ Material-Optimized Performance
- Aluminum: Lightweight, high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistant (ideal for heat sinks, frames, pneumatic tubes)
- Stainless Steel: High strength, excellent corrosion resistance (chloride / acid environments), high temperature capability (up to 800°C for 316L)
✅ One-Stop Manufacturing - From extruded or seamless tube blank to fully machined finished part, reducing supplier management and logistics cost.
✅ Customizable End Conditions - Ready for welding, threading, press-fit, or O-ring sealing.
Quality Control & Testing
- Dimensional inspection - CNC probe, CMM, optical comparator, plug/ring gauges
- Material verification - Mill test certificate (EN 10204 3.1), PMI (positive material identification) for stainless steel
- Pressure testing - Hydrostatic or pneumatic test for seamless tubes (per ASTM A312)
- Surface finish - Profilometer (Ra), borescope for ID inspection
- Coating / anodizing thickness - Eddy current or magnetic gauge
- Leak test - Air under water for threaded or sealed components
Ordering & Customization Options
To provide a precise quotation, please specify:
- Material grade (e.g., 6063 aluminum or TP316L stainless steel)
- Tube dimensions: OD * ID * wall thickness * length
- CNC machining drawing (PDF or DXF/DWG)
- Surface treatment requirement (anodized, passivated, polished, as-machined)
- Quantity (prototype, small batch, or mass production)
- Any certifications required (ISO 9001, PED 2014/68/EU, NORSOK, 3.1 certificate)
Packaging & Delivery
- Protection - Individual plastic caps on machined ends, bubble wrap, anti-rust paper (for stainless steel only - aluminum does not rust)
- Bundling - Steel banded wooden crates or shrink-wrapped pallets
- Labeling - Part number, material, batch traceability code
- Lead time - 40-60 days for custom machined tubes (depending on complexity & quantity)
- Port - Shanghai / Ningbo / Qingdao (or as requested)
Why Choose Our CNC Machined Tubes?
- Dual material expertise - We understand the different machining behaviors of aluminum (gummy, high speed) vs. stainless steel (tough, needs rigid setup)
- Seamless tube sourcing + in-house CNC - No middleman; we control both raw material quality and final machining accuracy
- Short lead time for prototypes - As fast as 30 days for simple machined tube components
- Third-party inspection accepted - SGS, BV, TÜV, or customer's own inspector

2. Can you provide custom lengths and machining on both materials?
Yes. We supply tubes in custom cut lengths (from 50 mm to 6000 mm for aluminum; up to 12000 mm for stainless steel). After cutting, we perform CNC turning, milling, drilling, threading, grooving, and end finishing according to your drawing.
3. What tolerances can you hold on machined tubes?

4. Do you supply tubes with anodizing or passivation?
- For aluminum tubes: Yes - clear anodizing, hard anodizing (Type III), or color anodizing available. Anodizing improves surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
- For stainless steel tubes: Yes - passivation per ASTM A967 removes free iron and restores chromium oxide layer for maximum corrosion resistance. Electropolishing also available for ultra-smooth, sanitary surfaces.
5. What standards do your stainless steel seamless tubes meet?
We supply to:
- ASTM A312 / A213 - Seamless austenitic stainless steel pipe/tube
- ASME SA312 / SA213 - Boiler and heat exchanger tubes
- EN 10216-5 - Seamless stainless steel tubes for pressure purposes
- NORSOK M-650 (upon request) - For oil & gas applications
Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) are provided with each batch.
6. Can you machine threads, grooves, or cross-holes on thin-wall tubes?
Yes, but with precautions. For thin-wall tubes (wall thickness < 2 mm):
- We use support mandrels or soft jaws to prevent deformation
- Threads are typically rolled (stronger) rather than cut
- Cross-holes are drilled with peck drilling and low feed rates
7. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

For custom extruded aluminum profiles (new die), MOQ is typically 500-1000 kg. For seamless stainless steel tubes from stock, no MOQ on cut-to-length.
8. How do you package machined tubes for export?
- Individual protection: Plastic end caps on machined threads or bores; bubble wrap or foam sleeve
- Bundling: Steel banded wooden crates or shrink-wrapped pallets
- Anti-rust: For stainless steel only - anti-rust paper and VCI bags (aluminum does not rust)
- Labeling: Each part labeled with material, batch number, and inspection stamp
