Description of Filter Coffee Makers

The machine has a water container connected to a through-flow heating element that separates water and steam after through-flow heating to allow the separated steam to be fed to a steam delivery nozzle. The tank is connected to the fresh water tank through a check valve at its bottom and to a steam separator at its top, with a throttle valve between the tank and the heating element to limit the rate of water delivery when dry steam is needed.

Is filter coffee different than espresso?

Filter coffees create a delicate brew, with a sweet almost clean taste. The acid level is softer making it complex but easy to drink. In contrast, espresso coffee tends to have an exaggerated acidity. The flavours of the coffee bean are brought out in a more subtle way making it bolder in flavour.
