Overview

The cable identifier is a specialised instrument used to identify a specific cable from a bundle of cables. It builds on the previous generation of identifiers with the addition of an LCD display, intelligent judgement of identification results, GPS time synchronization, and other advanced technologies. The identifier consists of a transmitting host, a receiving host, test leads, and a flexible coil. Its design is more compact and portable compared to the previous generation, making it easy to carry. By synchronising the test time of the transmitting and receiving hosts via GPS, 99% of interference signals can be filtered out. The identification results are displayed directly, making it even easier to use!

Working Principle

Working principle of the cable identification device the host will periodically the single polarity of the voltage pulse injection to recognition of the cable, the cable need to earth at the far end, in order to make sure there is enough electric current flows through the cable. A reflux current is formed through the earth. Strictly control the transmission signal cycle and interval with GPS time to make the signal characteristics more distinct.The receiving host connects a flexible coil to detect the direction of the current flowing through the cable and its characteristics, in order to determine whether the cable under identification is the target cable.
