316L stainless steel 1000LPH Dialysis Water Purification Machine with RO filter
I.Overview
In hemodialysis, dialysate water contacts patient blood indirectly through the dialysis membrane. Impurities like microorganisms, endotoxins, heavy metals (lead, copper), salts (chlorine, calcium), or organic compounds can cause severe risks including hemolysis, infections, and poisoning. Thus, dialysis water must meet ultra-high purity standards (e.g., ISO 13959 or *GB 5749-2022 special requirements*), far exceeding drinking water norms. It requires near-total removal of soluble impurities, microbes, and pyrogens.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the only core technology capable of efficiently achieving this purity—rejecting >95%-99% of salts, organics, microorganisms, and endotoxins. It serves as the essential "core barrier" for high-purity dialysis water.
316L stainless steel is the core material for components that come into direct contact with fluids (blood, dialysis fluid) in dialysis equipment. Its performance directly affects the safety of the treatment process and the reliability of the equipment, and is an important guarantee for the high precision and low pollution operation of medical-grade dialysis systems.
II.Standard Process Flow
Raw Water → Pretreatment (Sand Filtration → Activated Carbon Adsorption → Water Softening → Precision Filtration) → Reverse Osmosis (RO) → Post-Treatment (Deionization/EDI → UV Sterilization) → Dialysis-Grade Water
III.Key Roles of 316L Stainless Steel
Application Area | Components | Key Roles of 316L Stainless Steel | Typical Scenarios
Membrane Module Support | Frame, separator fixtures | Stable support; resists dialysis fluid corrosion; reduces membrane wear | ED/DD membrane stacks (high-salt, acid/alkali systems)
Fluid Conveyance | Pipes, valves, joints | Resists ion corrosion; withstands 30-80℃; smooth inner wall (reduces scaling) | Pharmaceutical/food dialysis pipelines (chloride-containing fluids)
Equipment Structure | Casing, rack | Resists moisture/acid-alkali mist; high strength for pressure fluctuations | Industrial ED equipment (chemical/metallurgical sectors)
Electrode Systems | Connecting pieces, supports | Ensures conductivity; resists oxidation/reduction corrosion (e.g., Cl₂, O₂) | ED/EDR electrode-membrane stack connections
Sealing/Fastening | Bolts, flanges | Prevents leakage; resists rust in long-term immersion | Detachable parts (especially lab dialyzers)
Cleaning Systems | Tanks, pump impellers | Resists acid-alkali cleaners; no metal ion leaching | Pharmaceutical CIP systems for dialyzers |
VI. Here is a guideline for you to get a proper quotation
Tell us the raw water/source of water(tap water, well water, or sea water, etc)
Provide water analysis report(TDS , conductivity, or resistivity, etc)
Required production capacity( 5m³/H, 50m³/H,or 500m³/H, etc)
What's the pure water used for( industrial,Food and Beverage,or agriculture, etc )
