PA L64/12 is an Atmosphere Furnace With Industrial Chiller. Carbon steel double housing. Ceramic fiber chamber. Heating element uses embedded HRE alloy coil wire.Shimaden PID temperature controller,programmable 32 segments,high temperature control accuracy.Gas port uses 1/4" hose barb,work in air, inert gas and rough vacuum environment, Max 70000Pa. Equips an industrial chiller. This atmosphere furnaces are mainly used for calcination process or pyrolysis,material synthesis in laboratories or research institutes,providing an environment for various purposes in many heat treatment experiments,such as manufacturing steel hydraulic fittings.

Safety Measures

• Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes

• However, toxic or explosive gases that may generate from the sample during the heating are not recommended for use with this high temperature muffle furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
• Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
• Ultimate vacuum level for PA Controlled Atmosphere muffle furnace is around 90000 Pa with hose barb connections. Please keep in mind that our PA atmosphere furnaces are NOT designed to be vacuum furnaces, the vacuuming part is mainly for users to pre-vac the chamber, before putting in inert or other protective gases, if you have special request on vacuum level, please order our professional vacuum furnaces
