This series Muffle Furnaces feature watch window build on the furnace door, box type ceramic chamber with embeded wire type, heating from three sides with Tmax 1200°C. Precise Shimaden PID controller, programmable 32-segment, fast heating and cooling. The Muffle Furnace 1200 C is an ideal tool for heat treating, reacting studies, sintering processes, and ceramic firing with maximum energy saving.

Safety Measures

• Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes

• However, toxic or explosive gases that may generate from the sample during the heating are not recommended for use with this programmable muffle furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
• Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
