Overview
Car bottom furnace is used for a wide range of industrial heating and heat treatment processes in small, medium and large industries. Car bottom furnace are suitable for the annealing of iron and steel, the tempering and removing of non-ferrous metals as well as the hardening. Furthermore, they are used for the baking and sintering of ceramic applications. The trolley could be driven out and in of the furnace chamber (manually or motorized), the car bottom furnace is accessible from all sides which facilitates the loading and unloading. Safety Measures
- Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
- Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
- Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes
- However, toxic or explosive gases that may generate from the sample during the heating are not recommended for use with this programmable muffle furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision.
- Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
