The DC resistance tester is a high-voltage testing device manufactured in accordance with the "Power Industry Standards of the People's Republic of China," designed under the general technical specification DL/T 845.3-2004. As stipulated in the "Regulations for Handover and Preventive Testing of Power Equipment," DC resistance measurement is a mandatory test item for semi-finished and finished products during the manufacturing of inductive coils (e.g., transformers, current transformers, reactors, electromagnetic operating mechanisms), for factory handover testing, installation, and preventive testing conducted by power authorities. It effectively identifies manufacturing defects such as material selection issues, welding defects, loose connections, strand losses, and wire breaks in inductive coils, as well as potential hazards arising during operation. This device represents an upgraded version of single-and double-arm bridge testers.
