The Hertz Power HZXD-F-38-600V/30-50A is a programmable battery charge/discharge tester engineered for battery packs at 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V, 220V, 380V, and 480V. It performs checking discharge tests, remaining capacity tests, routine battery maintenance, and DC power supply load-capacity inspections.

Based on the discharge characteristics of lead-acid and lithium batteries, the tester monitors battery voltage, discharge current, discharge duration, discharge capacity, and other parameters in real time. An embedded operating system automates the entire discharge process for fully intelligent operation. It generates curves, bar graphs, and reports that intuitively reflect battery group performance, with support for zooming, querying, and printing. This makes battery pack maintenance and management easier and more scientific, extending the service life of the battery pack.

The power consumption element uses a new PTC design — small in volume, light in weight, and easy to move. The whole machine is controlled by a microprocessor with an LCD display and menu interface. It is widely used in communications, electric power, tower operations, battery manufacturing, new energy vehicle enterprises, railroads, subways, petrochemicals, and other industries. With easy operation and safe discharging, it is an ideal test tool for DC system operation and maintenance testing.

When used with the wireless single-cell inspection module, it effectively monitors individual cell voltages within a battery pack and promptly identifies faulty batteries with serious performance deterioration.

1. Constant current discharge for battery packs: The constant current discharge current is continuously adjustable, allowing precise measurement of battery pack capacity.
2. Wide test voltage range: Covers 38–600V battery pack discharge testing with a maximum discharge current of 50A. One machine serves multiple purposes, meeting test requirements for battery packs at various voltage levels (12V/24V/48V/110V/220V/380V/480V).
3. Safe polymer PTC discharge: Discharge is performed through a Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient resistance with a high safety coefficient, avoiding red-heat phenomena and providing stronger environmental adaptability for a safer, more stable discharge test.
4. Dual-CPU redundancy design: The main control board uses an imported STMicroelectronics high-performance ARM CPU — stable, high-frequency, and powerful. The discharge process uses dual-CPU redundancy, with the main CPU and vice-CPU working together to maximize test safety and reliability.
5. 7-inch true color touch display: 1024x800 resolution HD touch screen intuitively displays bar graphs, tables, graphs, data reports, and help documents. The touch panel uses a military-grade multi-layer composite film resistive panel, especially suitable for DC battery rooms and high-frequency charger electromagnetic interference and transient pulse interference.

9. Calibration function: The instrument is equipped with voltage and current calibration and correction, allowing on-site correction of measurement errors to ensure accuracy. This is especially suitable for consistency requirements between instrument readings and field instruments.
10. Multiple discharge test alarms: Set alarms for discharge capacity, discharge time, single-unit voltage threshold, whole-group voltage threshold, and more. Any test condition automatically stops charging and discharging. Fault alarms include over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and reversed voltage test terminals.
11. Rich expansion interfaces: The back of the instrument provides multiple parallel, remote control, USB, and other communication interfaces.
12. Professional PC analysis and management software: In-depth analysis of test data, single-voltage curves, whole-group voltage curves, whole-group current curves, single histograms, and real-time data forms. Host software includes password protection and experimental conclusions, and automatically generates Excel or Word reports for printing and archiving.
