Bacillus thuringiensis (Israel subspecies) is a widely used microbial mosquitoicide. Its main insecticidal component is parasporal crystals. The product undergoes enzymatic hydrolysis in the midgut alkaline environment of mosquito larvae and intestinal protease to degrade the paraspore crystals to release toxic peptides. This causes paralysis of the larvae, disrupts the K ion balance, and leads to poisoning death. It has a good control effect on mosquitoes (larvae).
Key Benefits:
- Effective larvae control
- Microbial and environmentally friendly
- Targets mosquito larvae specifically
- Safe for non-target organisms
- Easy to apply
Target Industries and Applications: Agriculture, Public Health, Pest Control Services, Residential Areas, Water Treatment Facilities.
