The shuttle racking system is a high-density storage system that uses shuttles to automatically carry loaded pallets on the rail tracks in the rack. The radio shuttles are remotely controlled by an operator. There is an optimum use of storage space, and workplace safety is well maintained because the forklift doesn’t need to be driven in the racks or aisles between racks, therefore, maintenance costs are reduced for the sake of less damage of the racks.
The shuttle racking system can work either as FIFO ( first in first out ) or as last in, LIFO ( fLast In First Out ) , for large quantities of same products like beverage, meat, sea food, etc. It is an ideal solution in cold storage warehouse with temperatures of down to -30°c.
because the space utilization is vital to cold storage warehouse investment.It is also possible to control the inventory through a system of sensors which count the stored pallets, and the gap between pallets are adjustable for compacting the storage space or ventilating the cold air better.

● The working principle of High efficient shuttle racking system for cold warehouse storage:
Inventory: the goods are put on the front end of the storage tunnels by the forklift truck, through radio remote control shuttles, can carry pallets of goods in track operation;
Pick: radio remote control shuttle carries the pallet from the farthest end of the storage tunnel to the nearest end of the racking system, put down the pallet from the racking system by the forklift truck;
Mobile shuttle : the shuttle can be place in different storage tunnel by the forklift, several storage tunnels can share a shuttle. The quantity of shuttle is depend on the depth of the storage tunnel, total of goods, shipping quantity, shipment frequency and other factors;
