The door plate serves as the front sealing surface of the heat exchanger combustion chamber. It achieves an airtight seal via a high-temperature ceramic fiber gasket preventing:

• Leakage of high-temperature flue gas
• Cold air infiltration that would compromise combustion efficiency
• Corrosion of adjacent components by acidic condensate (pH 3–5)

2. Burner Mounting Interface

The door plate integrates a premix burner mounting flange, which performs these critical functions:

• Secures the fully premixed burner head
• Houses a built-in air-gas manifold (Air-Gas Manifold)
• Provides uniform air distribution channels for the premix fan
• Ensures thorough premixing of fuel gas and air before entering the combustion chamber

3. Ignition & Flame Sensing Pass-Throughs

Precision ports/openings are incorporated into the door plate:

• Electrode Port — passage for the ignition electrode (Ignition Electrode)
• Flame Sensor Port / Ionization Electrode port — for ionization-based flame monitoring to ensure safe combustion operation

4. Thermal Insulation

The interior surface of the door plate is lined with a biosoluble fiber insulation layer (Biosoluble Fiber Insulation):

• Reduces surface temperature (typically below 60°C), ensuring operator safety
• Minimizes radiant heat loss, contributing to overall unit thermal efficiency
• Withstands continuous temperatures of 1000°C or higher

5. Condensate Drainage Management

Condensing heat exchangers produce acidic condensate; the door plate is designed with:

• A condensate collection trough
• A drain outlet/port
• Directs condensate flow toward neutralization treatment systems

6. Maintenance Access Point

• Hinge or quick-release bolt design provides access to heat exchanger internals (finned tube bundles, flue passages, etc.)
• Facilitates cleaning of soot deposits, replacement of seals, and inspection of tubing corrosion
