The HW-D is a direct-diode semiconductor laser welding system engineered for precision metal joining in industrial production lines. Compared with conventional YAG and fiber laser platforms, the semiconductor laser source converts electrical energy into laser output with far fewer intermediate stages, so the machine runs cooler, draws less power and holds a stable weld seam over long shifts.

• Compact structure, long service life. The integrated laser head, control cabinet and water chiller share one compact frame that fits into a production cell of less than one square metre.
• High electro-optical conversion efficiency, no wear parts. Lower heat load means lower electricity consumption and less chiller duty.
• Uniform beam energy distribution. The homogenised square spot keeps energy density flat across the whole spot, which produces even penetration, smooth seam edges and a consistent weld bead without hot spots, spatter or undercut — especially important for thin sheet, sealing pins and battery tabs.
• Proprietary QCW, PWM and CW output modes with built-in soft ramp-up and ramp-down. The in-house control system lets operators switch between QCW, PWM and CW modes on one machine. Every mode carries an exclusive soft start and ramp-down function, which suppresses the first-pulse spike, avoids crater cracking at the weld end and protects temperature-sensitive parts from thermal shock.
