composition – 17% Cr, 7% Ni, 0.05% C, 1.0% Al
a precipitation-hardenable austenitic stainless steel combining high strength, toughness
and excellent corrosion resistance.
Its heat treatment capability allows tailoring the mechanical properties to specific requirements,
making it a versatile choice for demanding applications.
Stainless steel 17-7PH achieves its highest strength through a combination of cold working
(producing martensite) followed by an ageing treatment at approximately 480°C, CH900 condition.
this 17-7PH stainless grade is primarily used for thin sheet and wire.
1.4568 is widely used in aerospace, medical technology, mechanical engineering and automotive industries,
especially for highly stressed springs, clips, clamps, diaphragms, valve components and precision parts.

Tensile Strength: 240 ksi min (1650 MPa)
