DIN X6CrMo17-1 AISI 434 EN 1.4113 Stainless Steel Cold Rolled Steel Strip
Type 434 is a modification of 430, one of the most widely used of non hardenable ferritic
stainless steels. The addition of molybdenum increases this alloy's corrosion resistance and its
attack from many deicing chemicals. It also provides good heat and oxidation resistance up
to 816℃ as well as good mechanical properities. Heating above the critical austenite forming
temperature leads to a room temperature microstructure of ferrite and fine martensite.
As annealed the alloy is ferritic, maximum service temperature is 816℃.
