by heat treatment.
Thus, in the quenched and tempered condition, they attain high strength levels enabling
the achievement of a sharp cutting edge. Combined with their good corrosion resistance,
this aptitude meets the requirements of numerous applications.
AISI 420B, a martensitic stainless steel that provides corrosion resistance similar to 410 stainless,
but with increased strength and hardness.
