Secondary metabolites regulation
395nm violet light belongs to the UV-A band, which can stimulate the synthesis of cannabinoids (e.g., THC, CBD), and at the same time promote the production of protective substances such as anthocyanins, to enhance plant resistance. This band of UV light also inhibits fungal spore activity, reducing the incidence of diseases such as powdery mildew.

Inhibition of growth and morphological optimization
UV light inhibits excessive stem elongation by modulating the photosensitive pigment signaling pathway, resulting in a more compact marijuana plant with thicker stalks.
