Fingerprint module is the core component of fingerprint lock, installed in devices such as fingerprint access control or hard drive, mobile phone, etc., used to complete the fingerprint acquisition and fingerprint recognition module. Fingerprint module is mainly composed of fingerprint acquisition module, fingerprint recognition module and extended function module (such as lock drive module), FPC fingerprint module is its important component.
FPC fingerprint module can be divided according to its fingerprint recognition method:
1. Optical fingerprint module, which relies on the principle of refraction and reflection of light to identify fingerprints;
2.Capacitance fingerprint module, which collects fingerprints by the value change of capacitance;
3.RF fingerprint module (scratch fingerprint module), using trace RF signal to detect the pattern.
Principle of FPC fingerprint module:
1.optical fingerprint module, the use of light refraction and reflection principle, light from the bottom of the prism to the prism, and through the prism shot, shot light on the fingerprint surface fingerprints uneven lines on the angle of refraction and reflection back to the light will not be the same, CMOS or CCD optical device will be collected to the different degree of brightness of the picture information, fingerprints on the completion of the collection.

3.RF fingerprint module, using biological RF fingerprint identification technology, through the sensor itself to emit a trace of RF signal, penetrate the epidermis of the finger to control the inner layer of the texture, in order to obtain the best fingerprint image. Strong anti-fake fingerprint ability, RF identification principle only reacts to human dermal skin, which fundamentally eliminates the problem of artificial fingerprints.
