Silver-black mulch film is a multi-layer co-extruded PE functional two-color agricultural film. Its standard structure is silver on top and black on the bottom. When laid, the silver side faces the sky, and the black side is in close contact with the soil.

One side of the film is coated with highly reflective silver masterbatch, and the other side with high-shading carbon black masterbatch, combining the two core functions of reflective insect repellent and shading weed control into one. Distinguished from ordinary white or pure black mulch film, it is a multi-functional mulch film specifically designed for fruits, vegetables, and cash crops.

Advantages:

I.Silver Surface Layer (Upward) Functions

1. Physically repels pests and reduces viral diseases.

High reflectivity (85%~98%) reflects ultraviolet and blue-violet light, interfering with pests' vision and preventing them from landing to lay eggs, thus reducing pesticide use.

2. Provides supplemental lighting at the bottom, resulting in even fruit coloring.

Reflects sunlight to the lower leaves and the back of the fruit, eliminating uneven coloring on the fruit, resulting in more even coloring and higher sugar content in grapes, strawberries, and watermelons, increasing the marketable fruit rate.

3. Cools the soil in summer and prevents excessive vegetative growth.

It prevents soil moisture evaporation, saving 30%~40% of water; reduces rainwater erosion, prevents soil nutrient loss and surface compaction, and maintains loose and breathable soil.

In winter and spring, it slightly increases soil temperature by 2~3℃ to promote early seedling emergence; in summer, it inhibits sudden increases in soil temperature, ensuring a stable environment for root growth.
