Description

Product Description:

LLDPE, which stands for linear low-density polyethylene, is a type of polyethylene created by incorporating short branched chains into HDPE. This unique construction combines the supple properties of low-density polyethylene with the robustness of high-density polyethylene. The key attributes of LLDPE are its high toughness, ease of processing, and resistance to low temperatures.

Good UV Resistance and Low Environmental Impact within Polyethylene

Features:

Physical Properties:

Extremely strong toughness, far superior to LDPE in terms of impact resistance and puncture resistance (such as plastic bags for heavy objects that are not easily broken); outstanding low-temperature resistance, able to maintain good toughness even at -40 ℃, and not easily brittle; medium transparency, slightly lower surface glossiness than LDPE.

Chemical Properties:

Acid and alkali resistance, organic solvent resistance, good barrier to water and water vapor; excellent electrical insulation and can be used as insulation layer for wires and cables.

Processing Performance:

Good fluidity, easy to form through blow molding, extrusion and other processes; wide processing temperature range, high production stability, suitable for large-scale manufacturing of films, pipes and other products.

Technical Parameters:

Water Absorption <0.01%

In the field of packaging, polyethylene is the most widely used material, accounting for the highest proportion. It is commonly employed in the production of stretch wrap film for packaging purposes, food packaging film, agricultural film like puncture-resistant greenhouse film, and heavy packaging film used for packaging fertilizers and feed.

Another significant application of polyethylene is in pipes and profiles. It is utilized in manufacturing the inner layer of water supply pipes, gas pipes - taking advantage of its flexibility and sealing properties, as well as in corrugated pipes, cable trays, and others.

Polyethylene finds its way into various other fields as well. It is used in the production of wire and cable insulation layers, plastic toys, container covers, and disposable items such as gloves and aprons. The versatility and adaptability of polyethylene make it a key material across a wide range of industries and applications.
