Why 5754 is Used in Enclosed Trailers?

(1) Superior Corrosion Resistance

Contains ~3% Magnesium (Mg), forming a protective oxide layer.

Resists salt, humidity, and road chemicals.

Better than 6xxx alloys (eg., 6061) in harsh environments.

(2) Good Strength-to-Weight Ratio

Stronger than 5052 but lighter than steel.

Suitable for walls, roofs, and flooring without excessive weight.
