2.8 Functional Features
1) Voltage detection and protection function
It has individual voltage and overall voltage detection, overvoltage and undervoltage alarm and protection functions. The accuracy error of single cell voltage detection is less than ± 10mV under static conditions at room temperature. The overall voltage is detected by BDC, with a detection accuracy error of ≤ 0.1V, and alarm and protection parameters can be set through the upper computer.
2) Current detection and protection function
It has functions of charging and discharging current detection, alarm, and protection. The charging current is displayed as positive current, and the discharging current is displayed as negative current. The current sampling accuracy error under normal temperature conditions is ≤± 2%. Alarm and protection parameters can be set through the upper computer.
3) Temperature detection and protection function
It has battery cell and environmental temperature detection functions, and can alarm and protect during high and low temperature charging and discharging. Within the working temperature range, the temperature sampling accuracy error is less than ± 2 ℃. Includes 8 cell temperature sensors, 1 ambient temperature sensor, and 2 MOS tube temperature sensors. Alarm and protection parameters can be set through the upper computer.
4) Short circuit protection function
BDC has the function of detecting and protecting against output short circuits.
5) Battery pack capacity calculation function
The SOC of the battery pack can be calculated, and the accuracy error of SOC estimation is ≤± 5%.
6) Balance function
Balance management can be performed on the cells in the battery pack: When the battery pack is charging, when the individual cell voltage reaches the starting balance voltage and the maximum voltage difference is greater than the balance voltage difference, the individual cells that meet the conditions will activate the balance function. Supports up to 6 channels simultaneously for balancing, balancing current 100mA@3.6V . The balanced opening voltage and balanced voltage difference can be set through the upper computer.

8) Charge discharge current limiting function
It can achieve charge and discharge current limiting function, and the current limiting value can be set, with a maximum current limiting value of 100A. Usually, charging works in current limiting mode. When overcurrent protection occurs during charging and discharging, the cut-off method is generally not used, but switched to current limiting mode.
9) Anti reverse connection function
Equipped with anti reverse circuit. It can prevent the protection board from burning out due to reverse battery wiring during parallel installation after the system is powered on. Note: Only supports reverse power on protection and does not support online reverse connection.
10) Current sharing control function
Through the CAN communication interface, each BMSP can receive data information from other battery packs, achieve discharge current sharing control through adaptive current sharing strategy calculation, or use adaptive capacity balancing strategy calculation to achieve optimal capacity matching for charging and discharging.
11) Multiple working modes
According to the operating mode settings, it can achieve charging and discharging current limiting mode, charging and discharging direct mode, discharging constant voltage mode, etc.
12) Data storage function
Support the function of storing approximately 100000 battery status data.
