Product description


The IG100 Gas Fire Suppression System uses pure nitrogen extracted entirely from the atmosphere as its extinguishing agent. With ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of 0 and no adverse impact on the environment, it is highly eco-friendly. The nitrogen is colorless, odorless and non-toxic, generating no chemical substances during fire suppression, thus preventing secondary pollution to equipment. It also disperses without forming visibility-obscuring mist, ensuring orderly and safe personnel evacuation.
Its working principle is oxygen concentration reduction: by releasing nitrogen into the protected area, the oxygen in the air is diluted to extremely low levels. This suffocates the flames, effectively suppressing combustion promptly after the system is activated.
It is suitable for data centers, computer rooms, telecommunications facilities, process control centers, emergency power supply facilities, flammable liquid storage areas, high-value medical equipment zones, expensive fluid handling apparatus, libraries, museums, art galleries, cleanrooms, soundproof rooms, etc.
As an environmentally friendly and efficient solution, it is internationally recognized as one of the new alternatives to traditional Halon systems.
