Steel grating, also known as bar grating or metal grating, is an open grid assembly of metal bars designed to hold heavy loads with minimal weight. The bearing bars run in one direction and are spaced by rigid attachment to cross bars running perpendicular to them, creating a durable structural framework.
This versatile product is widely used as floors, mezzanines, stair treads, fencing, trench covers, and maintenance platforms in various industrial settings including factories, workshops, motor rooms, trolley channels, heavy loading areas, boiler equipment, and heavy equipment areas.
Manufactured through a precise process of high-pressure resistance welding, steel grating undergoes cutting, incision, opening, and overlock processing to meet specific customer requirements. The finished product consists of bearing bars and cross bars arranged in a flat-steel weft configuration.
