Steel bar grating, known for its high strength and robust structure, is manufactured from carbon steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. Depending on the production method, steel grating can be categorized into four types: welded bar grating, press-locked grating, swage-locked grating, and riveted grating. Based on surface design, it is available in both smooth and serrated options. With a wide range of styles and sizes, steel grating serves versatile applications in everyday life, including stair treads, walkways, platforms, flooring, trench covers, wheeled equipment, security screens, and heavy-duty constructions.
In the food processing industry and in settings where attractive appearance is paramount, stainless steel bar grating is the preferred choice.
In the following pictures, our stainless steel bar grating sheets are characterized by their strong corrosion resistance, high wear resistance and very long useful life. Please note that their very long service life is sufficient to make up for the shortcoming of their relatively high manufacturing costs.
The Specification Code of these stainless steel bar grating sheets is G405/40/100, which means that the size of bearing bars is 40mm deep and 5mm thick, bearing bar spacing (pitch or centers) is 40mm, and cross bar spacing (pitch or centers) is 100mm. And their theoretical weight is about 49.6kgs/m2.
Our stainless steel bar grating sheets can be manufactured by manual welding or machine (press) welding. Our grating type PW means Press Welded Steel Bar Grating with a maximum width of 1200mm, whereas our grating type MW means Manually Welded Steel Bar Grating with a width, large or small.
