Step-by-Step Installation Guide

1.Site Preparation and Foundation:Step 1.

Clear the ground surface of debris and level the foundation base. Compact the soil firmly to prevent uneven settling of the retaining wall.

2.Unfolding and Assembling the Basket:Step 2.

Unpack the flat panels. Erect the side panels and internal diaphragms vertically. Pass the spiral binders (helical coils) through the mesh joints to secure the basket framework.

3.Installing Corner Stiffeners:Step 3.

Fix internal tie wires or stiffeners across the corners at 1/3 and 2/3 heights. This step is critical to prevent the face of the welded gabion from bulging outward during filling.

4.Stone Filling and Final Lidding:Step 4.

Fill the basket manually or mechanically with hard, durable stones (sized larger than the mesh opening). Once filled, fold the lid down and secure all top edges tightly with spiral binders.
