This 7.4V 8000mAh 18650 lithium battery pack is built from eight Grade A 18650 cylindrical cells arranged in a 2S4P configuration (2 cells in series, 4 strings in parallel). Each cell delivers a true 2000mAh rated capacity, giving the assembled pack a total capacity of 8000mAh and 59.2Wh of usable energy.
Each pack carries an NTC 10K (B=3435, ±1%) thermistor bonded to the cell group and wired to the BMS, so temperature is measured at the cells rather than at the board. The BMS uses that reading to block charging outside 0°C to 45°C, block discharging outside -20°C to 60°C, and cut the pack off at 70°C cell temperature.
Every pack is assembled with spot-welded pure nickel strips, wrapped in flame-retardant PVC heat-shrink, and protected by an integrated BMS board that manages over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature conditions. Cells are capacity- and internal-resistance-sorted before assembly, so each parallel string is balanced and the pack delivers stable output across its full discharge curve.
The 2S4P format is a practical upgrade path for buyers already using a 2S1P or 2S2P pack: it keeps the same 7.4V nominal / 8.4V full-charge platform and the same charger design, while quadrupling runtime. It is a drop-in power upgrade for portable audio, lighting, medical carts, POS terminals, test instruments, robotics and portable power stations.

Cells are capacity-sorted in 20mAh bins and matched by internal resistance before assembly. The 8000mAh label reflects measured pack capacity, not a theoretical multiplication of a marketing number, so the runtime quoted in your datasheet holds up in the field.
The 2S4P layout keeps the 7.4V nominal and 8.4V charge voltage of a standard 2S pack. Your existing charger, protection thresholds and device electronics stay unchanged while discharge time extends by a factor of four versus 2S1P.
Four matched parallel strings share the load current, so each cell runs at a lower C-rate. Lower per-cell stress means less heat, slower capacity fade and a longer service life for the finished product.
The onboard protection circuit cuts the pack off on over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit and over-temperature. This reduces field failures and after-sales returns on complete devices.
A 10K NTC thermistor is bonded directly to the cell group rather than to the PCB, so the BMS reads actual cell temperature. Charging is blocked below 0°C to prevent lithium plating, discharge is blocked outside -20°C to 60°C, and the pack trips at 70°C cell temperature with automatic recovery after it cools to 55°C. The NTC lead is also available on the connector, so your charger or host device can read pack temperature directly and apply its own charging profile.
We support custom harness length, connector type, PVC color, label and logo printing, BMS current rating, NTC thermistor options and carton packaging. Sampling is available before production release.
Incoming cells are inspected for capacity, internal resistance, voltage and appearance. Each assembled pack is checked for open/short circuit, weld strength, OCV, IR, NTC resistance at 25°C and full charge-discharge verification before packing. Batch test reports and UN38.3 / MSDS files are supplied with every shipment for air and sea freight clearance.
All packs are produced under ISO 9001 quality management and shipped with CE, RoHS, UN38.3, IEC62133 and MSDS documentation. We support OEM and ODM programs, neutral packaging and dedicated project engineering support with rapid response for overseas buyers.
