Brief Description
The FRP Desulfurization Tower operates based on the gas-liquid countercurrent contact mass transfer principle: Sulfur-containing flue gas enters the tower from the bottom, is evenly distributed by the air distribution device, and flows upward. The desulfurization slurry (such as limestone slurry or ammonia water) is atomized into fine droplets by the spray system at the top of the tower and sprayed downward. The gas and liquid interact thoroughly within the tower, and a chemical reaction occurs between the sulfide and the slurry (such as SO₂ reacting with CaCO₃ to form CaSO₃), ultimately resulting in solid waste (such as gypsum) or recyclable byproducts. The purified flue gas is then discharged through the demisting layer.
