Thanks to its inherent advantages — odorless, colorless, and non-toxic — the FM200 fire suppression system is widely regarded as the best substitute for the popular halon-type fire suppression systems. The pipe network model of the FM200 fire suppression system consists of three parts: the pipe network, the fire-fighting equipment, and the electrical elements. The latter two parts are explained below.

The electrical elements form a set of detecting devices and always play a subsidiary role in each system. They include several control panels, manual buttons, discharge indicator lights, alarm bells, sounders with light, smoke detectors, and heat detectors.

The main part of the system is the fire-fighting equipment, which is formed by the following components: FM200 cylinders, a cylinder frame, nitrogen-pressure driving devices, a driving device frame, container valves, flexible hoses, liquid flow check valves, gas control pipes, gas flow check valves, manifolds, safety valves, selective valves, flanges, elbows, and nozzles.

• Suitable for electrical fires, liquid fires, solid fires, and gas fires where the gas source can be shut off before extinguishing occurs.

All systems are packed with polyfoam first and then placed into a wooden case. When required to meet customer or safety requirements, goods can also be secured on a pallet.
