The FM200/HFC-227ea Fire Suppression Tube is an automatic, self-contained fire extinguishing device designed to mechanically extinguish fires in small, enclosed spaces. When a fire starts, the temperature rises and melts the pressurized extinguishing-agent storage tube. This one-of-a-kind plastic sensitive tube features stainless steel fittings on both ends. Upon contact with fire, the tube melts and forms a hole that acts as a nozzle, releasing the extinguishing chemical to suppress the fire.

The storage tube is filled with one of two highly effective, clean, and human-safe extinguishing agents: FM200/HFC-227ea or Novec1230. The system is suitable for Class A, B, C, D, and E fires and is ideal for switchboards, data cabinets, and electrical cabinets. Because it can be installed by anyone, no installation training is required. The extinguishing agent discharges as a liquid, disperses as a gas, and leaves no residue after extinguishing — eliminating cleanup costs.
