The Direct Type Fire Detecting Extinguisher with 3 kg agent is filled with FM200 agent. It is a colorless, tasteless, non-corrosive, and electrically insulating gas that leaves no residue or pollution after extinguishing. Its ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) is zero, making it an environmentally friendly extinguishing agent. Thanks to these characteristics, it is well suited for special locations where electrical fires are likely to occur.
Through a long detecting tube containing gas and pressure, the device functions as an automatic fire extinguisher without any manual operation.
Suitable for power plants, communications, broadcasting, petrochemical, railway, and similar systems.
Because of its flexible characteristics, the fire detecting tube can be fixed at any location where fire is likely to occur. When a fire breaks out in the cabinet, the fire detecting tube is quickly ruptured by the heat. Once the tube is broken, the internal air pressure changes and the fire agent is discharged through the broken hole, spraying out to extinguish the fire. At the same time, the small alarm bell on the top of the extinguisher rings to alert users that a fire has occurred, prompting them to check and refill the system.
This extinguishing device requires no electrical elements or pipe fittings to form a system. It can serve as a fire suppression system on its own.
The direct type fire detecting tube fire suppression system consists of a cylinder, a fire detecting tube up to 25 m long, a container valve, and one of two agent types: CO₂ or FM200.
The indirect type fire detecting tube fire suppression system has the same components as the direct type, with the addition of a release tube. In this system, the fire detecting tube is used solely for detection, so a release tube is required. For the direct type, however, the fire detecting tube serves both detection and release functions.
