Product Structure
The capacitive liquid level sensor consists of two main components: the sensor and transmitter. The sensor probes directly into the container or measuring tube, while the transmitter converts capacitance changes into standard current signals (4-20mADC).
Key Components:
- Sensor (A): Directly measures the medium in the container or measuring tube
- Connection Flanges (B,C): For gas phase and liquid phase connections
- Measuring Cylinder (D): Forms capacitance with the sensor electrode
- Drain Flange (E): For regular cleaning and maintenance
- Transmitter (F): Converts capacitance changes to standard signals
Important Note: The sealing section between transmitter and measuring tube is critical for safety. Do not disassemble without manufacturer consent to prevent accidents.
Display & Wiring
Wiring Options:
The KSLV606 display model offers two wiring methods:
Installation Notes:
- Always open the gas phase valve first, then the liquid phase valve
- Ensure cable joints have good contact and anti-corrosion protection
- Perform regular maintenance: 1-2 times weekly for dirty media, 1-2 times monthly for cleaner media
- Protect transmitter housing from water, corrosive media, and physical impact
